James 4:7-8...Resist the Devil...

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and He will come near to you.

The devil is always out there, lurking to see what trouble he may stir up, what evil he may produce or who will do his bidding. The best way we have of keeping the devil at bay is to draw near to God, to study His word and pray for His guidance. When we do this we can resist the devil, we can use scripture to turn him away and we can give the praise and honor to God for the victory.
