Exodus 17:2-3...Climb The Ladder Of Success...

So they quarreled with Moses and said, “Give us water to drink.”Moses replied, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you put the Lord to the test?”But the people were thirsty for water there, and they grumbled against Moses. They said, “Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to make us and our children and livestock die of thirst?”

Moses suffered with people that are very much like those around us today. Unsatisfied with the current status quo and always looking for a better or greener pasture that constantly alludes them. Our current society is covered with ads and articles that tell of ways to become happy, healthy and wealthy, all of which are designed to lead us to the next their or the next disappointment. Our true happiness is not contingent on possessions or materialist things but rather in the knowledge and understanding of God’s love. If we spend our time seeking knowledge and wisdom at the feet of Jesus we will see that the desire for material things fade. Hold fast to what is eternal. Seek wisdom and direction daily from God’s Word. These are the true treasures of our life…
